Tufts in Madrid, run in conjunction with Skidmore College, is designed to increase intercultural agency and understanding, and to achieve inclusive excellence. As a global leader in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice, the program offers courses designed to foster critical thinking, active learning, and the development of intercultural skills and knowledge. All of this is done within the framework of diversity, justice, and human rights.

Tufts in London

The Tufts in London program is suitable for students of nearly every discipline, as it is fully integrated into six highly-regarded institutions. Each university has its own academic strengths, formats, and cultures. 

Tufts in Japan

Tufts in Japan, offered in partnership with the Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies (KCJS), one of the leading Japanese studies programs, invites you to experience the rich, vibrant culture of Kyoto. Enroll in intensive Japanese language and disciplinary courses while integrating into the social and cultural life at Doshisha University. Further immerse yourself in Japanese society by participating in a Community Involvement Project, a core part of the Tufts in Japan/KCJS experience.

Tufts in Beijing

Tufts in Beijing invites you to experience the vibrant blend of history and modernity of Beijing. Enroll in intensive language and culture courses at Beijing Normal University’s School of International Chinese Language Education, one of the foremost national centers for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. 

Tufts in Chile

Tufts in Chile invites you to experience one of Latin America’s leading intellectual and cultural centers. Enroll in courses at the University of Chile or the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, two of the region's leading universities; participate in an internship; and live with a host family. Gain relevant professional experience and develop a deeper understanding of Chilean culture through an internship or volunteer opportunity.

Tufts in Talloires

Tufts in Talloires is an intensive, six-week summer-semester program open to undergraduate students at Tufts and other universities that offers students the opportunity to take two credit-bearing courses taught by Tufts faculty. Tufts in Talloires courses vary from year to year, but are all existing Tufts courses that fulfill undergraduate requirements. Each year’s courses represent disciplines in engineering, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and fine arts.

Tufts in Annecy

Tufts in Annecy offers university students an opportunity to improve their beginner or intermediate French language skills in a very inspiring environment. French language classes are taught at CILFA (Centre Internationale de la Langue Française à Annecy), our partner institute in Annecy, specialized in teaching French as a second language. Tufts' affiliation with CILFA provides students with quality language instruction and additional integration into the local culture.

Tufts Birthright Israel Experience

Birthright Israel is an innovative partnership between Jewish communities around the world and the people of Israel, providing the gift of peer-group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. It is made possible with the support of the Government of Israel, private philanthropists, and thousands of donors worldwide.
