Please do not come to a Tufts campus or work location today.

Next steps:

  1. Please do not come to campus or your work location, even if symptom-free, for 14 days from the date of your arrival in Massachusetts.  You must also self-quarantine in accordance with the guidance issued by the CDC and the state of Massachusetts.  This means:
    • Remain at home and avoid contact with others (including roommates). Keep at least 6 feet (2 meters) distance from others.
    • Do not attend classes, work or any other group gatherings, such as social events, meetings, rehearsals, team practices for the 14-day period.
    • Avoid crowded places (such as supermarkets, shopping centers, etc.) and limit your activities in public.
    • Do not take public transportation, taxis, or ride-shares during the time you are self-quarantining.
    • Monitor your health—take your temperature with a thermometer two times a day to monitor for fever and watch for cough or trouble breathing.
  2. If you are a faculty or staff member, please contact your department or supervisor to let them know will be in quarantine and to work from home if appropriate for your role.
  3. If you develop symptoms at any time, call your health care provider immediately so they can provide guidance and assistance. For students on the Medford campus and SMFA students, call Health Service at 617-627-3350. Otherwise, call your primary medical provider.
  4. If you require emergency medical assistance, please contact 911. If you are currently on campus, please contact the Tufts University Police immediately at x66911 from any campus phone, or from an off-campus or cellular phone:

* Medford/Somerville: 617-627-6911
* Boston: 617-636-6911
* Grafton: 508-839-5303

Thank you for completing the self screening form and helping keep the greater Tufts community safe in this difficult time.
