Fletcher Dual Degree Program: HEC MBA Program, HEC School of Management

Through this program, Fletcher students earn an MBA from HEC Paris. The MBA program at HEC is a unique 16-month general management program, offering courses either entirely in English or in English and French. HEC Paris is one of the most respected European business schools and is rated among the world's leading international MBAs, and boasts an alumni network of 25,000 graduates. 

Fletcher Exchange Program: HEC MBA Program, HEC School of Management

In addition to the joint degree program with HEC, Fletcher has a one semester exchange program with HEC. Up to three students from each institution spend one semester during their second year at the other institution as visiting students. 

Fletcher Exchange Program: Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po)

Description:

The Institut d' Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) occupies a special position among French universities. Founded in 1872 as the Ecole Libres des Sciences Politiques, it was originally a private school established to analyze the contemporary world. In 1945, the Foundation Nationales des Sciences Politiques (a private foundation) was created, and the Ecole Libre was transformed into a public institution while maintaining the objective of offering a multidisciplinary education for a "merit-based elite" who will develop "first-class analytical and decision-making capabilities." Sciences-Po has the stature of a "grand ecole" in the French educational system. One or two Fletcher students may study at Sciences-Po annually for either the fall or the spring term. 

 

Greeks, Romans, and Celts in the South of France

This two and a half-week program takes place at the American College of the Mediterranean/Institute for American Universities (IAU) in Aix-en-Provence, France and provides an overview on how the Greeks, Romans, and Celts in Ancient Gaul (modern France) influenced French culture and history. 

Tufts in Annecy

Tufts in Annecy offers university students an opportunity to improve their beginner or intermediate French language skills in a very inspiring environment. French language classes are taught at CILFA (Centre Internationale de la Langue Française à Annecy), our partner institute in Annecy, specialized in teaching French as a second language. Tufts' affiliation with CILFA provides students with quality language instruction and additional integration into the local culture. Tufts in Annecy students are placed in French language course specific to their skill level, attending language classes in Annecy and participating in regional cultural excursions for twenty hours per week.

Tufts in Paris partners with six highly regarded institutions to offer a primary program track and four specialized tracks, giving students from almost every academic discipline the opportunity to tailor their experience to their academic interests and goals. Regardless of the track chosen, students will benefit from the dedicated support of the Tufts-in-Paris on-site staff and will have the opportunity to participate in an array of program excursions and outings. .

Tufts in Talloires

Tufts in Talloires is an intensive, six-week summer-semester program open to undergraduate students at Tufts and other universities that offers students the opportunity to take two credit-bearing courses taught by Tufts faculty. Tufts in Talloires courses vary from year to year, but are all existing Tufts courses that fulfill undergraduate requirements. Each year’s courses represent disciplines in engineering, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and fine arts. Courses are designed to take advantage of the program’s ideal location in the center of Europe, as well as its inspirational Alpine setting.
