Student Activities in Chile

Tufts in Chile invites you to experience one of Latin America’s leading intellectual and cultural centers. Enroll in courses at the University of Chile or the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, two of the region's leading universities; participate in an internship; and live with a host family. Gain relevant professional experience and develop a deeper understanding of Chilean culture through an internship or volunteer opportunity.

Tufts in Chile: Global Public Health and Indigenous Communities is a 4-week summer program, taught in English, that examines public health in Chile and Indigenous approaches to healthcare through global and regional perspectives. The course will be conducted at Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUC) through various formats (seminar, field observation, research, etc.) and will also feature introductory Chilean Spanish language.
