Group Travel Registration
Groups traveling on university-related travel, including any trip that is Tufts-sponsored, administered, funded, or for credit or degree requirement, must register their travel. Travel Registrations should be initiated by the group trip leader and include all group trip participants (i.e., students, faculty, staff, and guests).
To start a group travel registration, the Group Leader should complete the following steps:
1). Email or call Global Operations at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617-627-3981 to request Group Trip permissions on your Travel Registry profile.
2). Once permission is set up (usually within 24 - 48 hours), login to the Tufts Travel Registry with your Tufts UTLN and password
3). Add a new trip, select the Group Trip button in the top right corner of the pop-up window. *It is recommended to add participants after receiving approval*
4). Complete the required Forms and Essential Content, then submit for approval
5). Once approved, return to the Travel Registry and add your group trip participants by email or first and last name. Be sure to include any staff, guests, or non-Tufts members
6). Group trip participants will then receive an email with instructions on completing their individual trip registration requirements
