IBGC Speaks: China’s Chance to Lead - Acquiring Global Influence via Infrastructure Development and Digitalization

Professor Richard Carney is visiting from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai where he teaches executives and MBA students. He is the author of Authoritarian Capitalism (Cambridge University Press, 2018), which won the 2019 Masayoshi Ohira Memorial Prize for work on the Asia Pacific. Richard is also an advisor to the World Bank for its flagship project ‘Businesses of the State.’ He received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, San Diego.
